In response to the current economic crisis and unsustainable patterns of managing our economies, the threat of climate change, deteriorating ecosystems, increasing footprints despite scarce resources and growing disparities and poverty around the globe, the World needs new and innovative paths to enhance the ways of doing business, management systems, and life styles.

The sense of responsibility of each individual and each stakeholder group is required to contribute to sustainable development worldwide! Sustainable Development has become a societal imperative.

The NEW WAYS Center for Sustainable Development has taken up the challenge to serve as a platform for cooperation towards that goal. In cooperation with European and international institutions as well as public and private sector organisations, academia, think-tanks and individuals, we highlight possibilities for engagement and offer solutions for new more promising directions at international, government or private sector level in respect to management for sustainability.
