The 0,7% Club for Sustainable Development

Governments have promised already in 1992 on the occasion of UNCED, the United Nations Conference for Environment and Development, to devote 0,7% of their GDP to the development of the partner countries. However, only few governments worldwide have kept that promise. This initiative shall contribute to that goal and invites private sector companies to be engaged in this endeavor. Individuals are most welcome to get personally involved too.


Two initiatives recdently emerged, „The Vienna 0,7% Club - Embassy Initiative“ and „The Vienna 0,7% Club - Private Sector Initiative“. You are most welcome to join!

It is our intention to invest all your money into projects that contribute to sustainable development at national and international level either with 0% or with a very low percentage of administrative costs. For more detailed information please refer to director@newways.eu
